Anti-vaccine influencers are still pushing the idea that vaccines are associated with SIDS. Of course, that’s not true, but if you are not convinced yet, ask yourself why Spain has such a low rate of SIDS.

After all, they give most of the same vaccines that we give in the United States, with higher vaccination rates.
In fact, by six months, infants in Spain get more vaccines than infants in the United States, during a time when they are most at risk for SIDS!
Why Does Spain Have Such a Low Rate of SIDS?

“Spain, one of the countries with the highest vaccination rates in the world, is, however, one of the countries with the least cases of sudden infant death syndrome.”
Spanish Pediatric Society Myths and False Ideas
How do you explain that if vaccines are associated with SIDS?
“In the United States of America (USA), the incidence of SIDS is 0.38 per 1000 live births. In countries neighbouring Spain, such as Germany, United Kingdom and Ireland, the incidence ranges between 0.3 and 0.43‰. Japan, Sweden and Canada are countries with a low incidence compared to these European countries, as it ranges between 0.1 and 0.24‰.”
Sudden infant death syndrome: Do the parents follow the recommendations?

Vaccines do not cause SIDS.
